Guimaras was a sub-province of Iloilo prior to 1992. Now a full pledge province with lots of potential in the tourism industry. An island province composed of five municipalities with vast shorelines. An overnight stay in one of its beaches in Siniguora Beach Resort, Sitio Balingasag, Brgy. Sinapsapan, Jordan, Guimaras is not enough to experience its majestic. How we are able to reach this place? We look back first in some of the tourist spots we visited in Guimaras and how we traverse going to the said resort.
From Iloilo City, we took a banca in Parola Wharf going to Buenavista Port and visited first the community of my wife at Brgy. Rizal. We hired a tricycle and visited the following places.

The resort is undergoing major development. It has multiple rooms for the guest plus the very basic amenities. Though it doesn't offer the best features, the sand, water, and topography are complementing each other to make your stay worthwhile. The floating cottage is also rentable during day time for big groups.
Across the resort is the famous Tatlong Pulo Island which can be reached by crossing the sea during low-tide. Corals are just everywhere and marine life is so vibrant. They even swim with you. This private island is just picturesque though it has a short shoreline it showcases how nature builds its own beauty.
Island hopping activity is one of the services they offered. For us five, we paid Php 800 for three hours trip. We have checked the floating cottage overlooking the famous the luxurious Andana Beach Resort. The floating cottage has several activities aside from the palatable menus they offered.
We have also visited Natago Beach and explore the guest house on top of a coral & rock formation.
